About

I am presently a second-year M.S. student in the Human Centered Design and Engineering (HCDE) program at the University of Washington, based in Seattle.

I have been fortunate to work in fast paced environments within a range of early-stage startups in the social consumer, healthcare, and education space, which has pushed me to focus intensively on people’s true needs while balancing business growth.

Leveraging my academic experience in mechanical engineering and computer science, I have grown to work optimally at the intersection of engineering, design, and research. I believe that every problem needs a unique approach and perspective to be solved and there is no one design process.

At the core, I believe in action through community is key to impact. Beyond design, I like to engage in various communities to help build belonging and bring accessibility resources for everyone.

Presently, at the University of Washington, I lead the Graduate Student Association helping engage students through social events, DEI initiatives, and affinity groups like LGBTQIA+, Disabled, and Underrepresented communities to represent voices of the diverse community of students who come from all over the world.

I also lead the Friends of Figma, Ethics & Diversity group and have worked with several student-led communities for aspiring UX designers, researchers, and product managers, like Students of UXD, Product Classroom, and Innovative Designers of Tomorrow.
